Goodbye Letter from Dr. Kim
To my patients,
I write to inform you that, after much thought, I have decided to leave Quality Family Physicians. This was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make, and rest assured it does not reflect on you, as your continued care has consistently been the highlight of this career. Rather, with the ever-changing healthcare needs in light of the pandemic specifically, and the changing face of primary care practice overall, I simply do not have the time to provide the type of service I am accustomed to, while also having time to focus on my family, my two daughters and my husband. In addition we have begun dealing with a difficult medical diagnosis in my extended family, which I know would only exacerbate an already impossible situation.
I want to reiterate that this is not a reflection of my feelings for you, my patients, or for Dr. Willey and the rest of the staff here at Quality Family Physicians. I want to take this opportunity to thank Dr Willey and the family at QFP that have supported me for more than twelve years. I could not have asked for a better place to begin my medical career, and can think of no physician whose medical judgment I trust more than that of Dr. Willey. The passion, the commitment and the level of patient care have been exceptional and I will take all those qualities that I have learned with me to my next journey.
In the meantime, I will miss everyone and the relationship that I have built with you, my patients.
Please take care of yourself,
Eun Kim, MD
