During these uncharted waters, we are now billing for services:
- Telehealth/Telephone Visits (billed as an office visit)
- Telephone triage calls and E-visits.
We were able to bill these services before but we at QFP did not bill for these services in service to our patients. We also did not want to create barriers in communication with the office.
Now, it is imperative that we bill for these services due in order to minimize our contact during this COVID-19 pandemic. The insurances highly encourage us to bill for these services since it is necessary and vital to sustain our private practice during this critical time to continue our services.
